A Las Cruces artist for over seven years, Sally Kohl studied at Madison Area Technical College in Wisconsin where she was first introduced to acrylic painting. As a member of the Artists of Picacho Hills for almost four years, she has participated in AoPH's annual events: Art in the Garden and Holly Day House. Sally's playful, bright and colorfully painted wood furniture and smaller decorative pieces reflect her personal style which combines cultural, historical and just plain fun elements. She has long appreciated the beauty and variety of New Mexico art, including watercolor paintings. Her work has been exhibited and sold in numerous venues in Las Cruces.
